Jump the Broom is a song that is perfect for play in a wedding or engagement environment. Kamal Imani is rapping real smoothly to his fiancée about their wedding day finally arriving. This comes over a smooth soulful hip hop jazz beat by Steg G.
When a bride to be in Philadelphia named Renee asked Kamal to perform at her wedding, Kamal made several poems and rymes and decided to record this one. There is an companion uptempo track for the reception called the "Jump The Broom" afterparty.
